Finding the Balance Between Just Enough and Too Much Exercise. HELP!

Right mimiB. I buy chlorine resistant suits from Vermont Country Store. They have a web site. And when I am a wee bit pudgy I just stuff it all in! I find the warm water exercise has relieved 80% of my pain and lasts 24 hours or more. Give it a try!

I understand the BEST exercise and sure cure for PsA is shoveling snow on Bonner Mountain in Turah Montana while caring for a special needs/autistic 14 year old girl who is extremley dismayed her Grammie has left the country. Of course you must be totally med, alcohol organics free to take advantage of this opportunity. Only a few slots remain and will be sold to the highest bidder.

I've got my own snow here. I had plenty of shoveling to do last week while hobbling around on my sprained foot. But maybe the air is different enough in Montana. Hmm.

I went ahead and did my six miles today on the recumbent bike...it takes me about 40 minutes. About 1/3 of the way through I was REALLY hating it and then I did my Lamaze breathing and a great song came on and I just got my second wind and finished up great ! I am really looking forward to a soak in Dr. Teal's Spearmint & Eucalyptus bath salts and some time with my beads this afternoon.

I really think the Humira must be doing something because 12 weeks ago, there is no way I could have done this. Yay.

Wow! Bike riding, dating/bathing with a doctor, and beading. I'd say the Humira is doing something......

I’m impressed with what Humira is doing … is Dr. Teal a hottie?
Seriously, Mimi, so great to hear about all these good things. I have a feeling you are going to enjoy the weekend! Well-deserved.

So great to hear Mimi! I am so very excited for you, and its so great to hear you are taking full advantage of the improvement

Haha, yeah, Dr. Teal is HOT ! Seriously, I am addicted. Give him a try. http://www.drteals.com/index.aspx

Yeah I love Dr. Teal. I alternate his S&E with his lavender. Wonderful!

Good for you finishing up, way to go mimiB.

Lamb I'll stay here with my knee high slush. At least until it freezes solid on Sunday night. Just enough time between now and then to make deep tire grooves and foot holes between now and then, hell yes!

I just looked at a bottle of bath product I use that really relieves pain before I go to bed. I put it in a tub of really hot water and a cup (approx.) of Epsom Salts. It works so well I haven't found anything that comes close. It is called Aches & Pains Relief by Village Naturals Therapy. I buy it at Wallmart but I am sure it is available on the net.

I will check that out, Michael ! I did my six miles today and upped it to level 6. Bad to the bone ! I am looking forward to a good soak so I will smell good when the hubster gets hone :)
