Funny you should mention mice.... my wifes quilt shop has been closed for a few days. She thought she had a couple, finally bought some Dcon when they avoided he live traps .A couple of he ladies saw one. Not good. I told her not to poisen them but you can tell my wife, you just can't tell her much. She told me they would leave the building searching for water. (it said so on the package - Yeah right. There were six on the floor when we walked in (not a good start) The smell from the ones we couldn't find would gag a maggot........ Finally after three days of thermal fogging etc, the store almost smells habitable.
The reason I bring all this up is that Lyrica operates similarly to D-Conn in that it eliminates blood platletes. While PsA can cause exhaustion there are a dozen things that also cause exhaustion. Shouldn't blow it off. It can be a side effect of meds OR indication of something else sinister going on................
I am so glad the mousies on here don't smell! I know it can be a symptom of other things but I do get my blood work regularly. And every joint hurts. I have been in a flare since August and it is getting old..... I believe it is responsible for the fatigue (along with my husbands snoring but that's another story; last summer my son and I came in the front door and my son asked if Jimmy was mowing the lawn again. It was Jim a house and a story away from the front door having a little nap in front of the TV. Oh my. Too funny......
I have been extremely exhausted lately ! I am on Remicade every 4 weeks, Methotrexate every sunday . Now on Gabapentin , prednsione and morphine , and I work !!! I am so depressed and feel like there is no way out and no light at the end of the tunnel ! My joints in my toes are killing me and latley I have been freezing ! I have been on Remicade for 4 years and I think its finally loosing its effecfts .....
At about 3-4 yrs of treatment is when biologics that have worked for me in the past start losing their effectiveness. Can you talk to your doc about trying a different biologic?
I hear you on the flare. I've gone through ALL the biologics, and my current one is starting to fade after only 14 mo. Not sure what to do next. My small joints are THE WORST right now (fingers and toes). Feel like someone ran over them, then backed up and ran over them again.
