What to say to a physiotherapist?

I just got my first appointment with a musculoskeletal Physiotherapist through my General Practitioner for mobilization, and wonder if there is anything that you found particularly useful to tell the Physio to make the most of their services?

In the past I've done targeted therapies (hands, massage, vestibular rehabilitation and Pilates) with Physios but I've never done the more generalized, getting you back up and moving again after illness therapy.

Having been recently reminded that Physios are not mind readers, any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

The main thing is to explain the disease, and what specifically is a problem and obviously give lots of feedback during the evaluation and treatment process.
