I had my thoracic MRI today and dropped off the cd with my brain and c-spine MRIs to the neuro (my rheumy ordered the first two, the neuro convinced the insurance company to approve the third, and we're still waiting for the insurance to ok the lumbar MRI). Now I only have a week to wait until my neuro appointment, when hopefully I'll get at least some more info, more testing, or some clue as to what is going on. I hope at the very least the neuro can say whether or not it's related to the Remicade, because if her opinion is that it isn't, my rheumy can get me back on SOMETHING to treat my PsA. Going without treatment is horrible. I repeat: stay on your PsA meds, kids! ;)
Good luck, Nym! I hope the results come back with good news that nothing too serious is what’s causing your symptoms. and whatever it is can be treated successfully!

We've not had much snow but caught an arctic blast this week. It was -6F this morning as I left for work. School's been out all week because of the snow, wind, cold, general malaise.

Thanks, everyone!
Yes, waiting for Spring counts times a million!!!! We're buried here in CT.
This is crazy....I sometimes feel like I'm either waiting for the next virus to strike me down, or for my back to go out again, or for Enbrel to stop working, or for our daughter to ask me to babysit, or for my husband to want to do it, or, or....so many things to wait for--the list is never ending!
Well, I finally made it or my big appt, first injection of Enbrel today! Never been actually looking forward to shot ever before. It went great, so easy and barely hurt at all. Now comes the waiting game again for it to work. To know if I’m one of the lucky 50% that have improvement and relief. Crossing my fingers or actually being able to would be nice. Lol.
Awesome, Rachael! I hope things are looking up for you soon!
I had my follow-up neuro appointment and have landed myself firmly in the Land of We Have No Idea. Good news: not MS, no lesions, no tumors. Not so good news: definitely left-side weakness and they can't figure out why. They want me back on PsA meds to see if I can get better control of my PsA and see if it helps. I spoke with my rheumy, and he's reluctant to start me on Humira, as it really isn't the best fit for me and I was at one point doing incredibly well on Remicade. So - it's back to Remicade infusions and we'll see if the other issues I've discovered and addressed since going off Remicade (low folic acid among them) make a difference in combination with the Remi. My first infusion will be in 2 weeks, but only that far off because my 14 year old has tonsil/adenoid surgery next week!
So now I'm waiting for Remi ... and for Remi to (hopefully) start working!!!
Good luck, Rachael! I hope it works as well for you as it did me at first!

Thanks for the cheers guys!
Nym hope your daughters surgery goes well and she recovers quickly. Also hoping remicade finds you the needed relief it did last time. No MS that’s great news! The land of no answers sounds lame but typical. What happened to the technology these days why has no one invented that great Star Trek scanner yet! Or teleporting. Lol. Anyway, waiting along with you. Can feel some relief in my back for first time ever (now I know mtx wasn’t truly working for me) since starting Enbrel. If only my feet and hands would join in! Been toiling way too hard at work this last week hoping its just from that and that they will get the memo.
