# Steroids and Bubbles

I'd recently begun to feel a marked decrease in pain during the past week of my hospitalization for ashtma....I was exultent thinking that the ACTEMRA was working so well...I mean my pain has not gone over 6 in about a week. That's a great number for me. Well my Pulmoniologist came in just now and asked me how my pain levels are....I told him happily that the actemra is working. He smiled sadly and said, No I't''s because of the massive doses of steroids I've been shooting up with. CRAP! he sure know how to bust my bubble. I mean SOME of the improvement may stay but it likely will stil mean that I'm in a fair amount of pain.
