I have had the delayed reaction with mtx. I thought I had delivered the dose into fat but I do not know that for sure. I was more careful with my needle after that. I also had twice an immediate relief of PsA symptoms. I awoke on Monday morning (I also inject Sunday nights) with out any stiffness or pain and no hangover feeling. Just felt great. I have no ides how it happened but I loved it. I do not get nausea anyway, I get appetite suppression and feel like I have an awful hangover with a faint dirty penny taste.
I ma so glad you know Criminal Minds! As watch my reruns here in the far northeast may I continue to think Garcia is you?
They are nasty pills. Once I got up to 15 mg my Rheumy offered me the injectable. I lick it better and don't mind giving myself shots.
Good Job!!!!!!

OK, down to 2.5 mg prednisone after a week of 5 mg. So far, so good.
Good for you mimi! How are you joints? Any pain or stiffness?
Probably nuts! Just kidding.........I would try reducing again tomorrow if you can. I am having a mtx Monday too but can't be menopause as i am about 12 years post. I have my second Remicade infusion Thursday. I feel like pooh but my son is home for a month! I bought some of the genie bras you suggested, I love them! I immediately bought 2 more!
You’re doing really well Mimi…keep going! Sending you a big hug X
Hi Mimi,
Personally I found that the drop from 5mg was horrendous - and I only did it at 1mg at a time! (on 2 now).
If you think you can tough it out, go for it (2.5 mg at once I mean), but definitely nothing wrong with 1mg per week - that’s what my Rhuemy reccommended once I got below 5mg
Good luck either way!
I bought a 2 pack of Genie bras finally. They're more supportive than the other soft ones I have, but didn't like the inserts. I'll probably stick with the other brand I usually wear.

I know what you mean Mimi, I wish I had thought to switch to Remicade sooner or later. The enbrel is gone and the remicade is not on board yet. I guess the enbrel was doing more than I thought. You did really well reducing your predi, I am proud of you! You did a really good job of reducing. Have a great holiday.
Too stiff, and redirected me weird. I usually wear something similar to this: Hanes Women's Bandini Bra. I started wearing them when I was still nursing my little one, and just haven't seen a reason to stop.

Stoney, what didn't you like about the inserts ? I have to have something in there for coverage. Are the ones you usually wear "comfort or sport bras"? I can never go back to the "iron maiden" ! My ribs get so sore by the end of the day, even with the Genies, but they are the most comfortable bra I have worn so far.
