I do not suffer with skin problems, although odd occasions on the scalp. I had carpel tunnel surgery about 5 years ago, due to my meds, it took a year to heal. Christmas day, on the carpal tunnel scar, my hand was agony and red, got worse by Friday, saw GP, had no idea what it was, and gave me fluciloxacillin. I think I could have shingles. Has anybody else had this?

I hope that helps. I've never had it myself. I know shingles tends to be on one side and can burn.
