Septa and Enbrel and methodextrate

Ok friends, I just got back from the doctor and he wants to put me on a mantaince dose of septra for the winter months to help with my health. This is because I have a long history of ENT problems and wants to help me through the winter. Went to talk to pharmacist and she typed in the new med and no interactions came up. Was curious has anyone here have their doctor done for them. I am ok with this but confused because I thought we could not take sulfer drugs.

It is septra not septa

There is a huge trial going on with Enbrel and sulfazine...... as a combo.

I'd just make sure you get your llver tests done more than once a year. You have 2 known liver "buggers" (MTX and Septra) Shouldn't be a problem but.......
