SAE reporting with drug companies...any advice?

Some additional paperwork regarding a SAE that I had while on biologics landed in the post today, and I'm now deeply confused as to how important it is that the illness is reported accurately to the drug company by a doctor that discussed my SAE with me and treated me.

I can't tell if it's just a formality that doesn't matter, or something that I need to sort out so that it is relatively accurate...Has anyone had any experience with the reporting process?

Its not a formality, its very important and treated as such. How important is it? You felt important to report it to us. Certainly it would be important to others.

It should be accurate. It should also be accurate in your medical records as it can have a significant effect on your future treatment.
