I have been pondering for many days on is a rhumatologist really the right type of doctor to treat this disease. How come an immunologist is not the doctor of choice since this has to do with an immune issue that goes haywire.

Immunologists are diagnosticians. Rheumys are trained to treat as well as Dx
Interesting! I did see an immunologist last week and discovered my swallowing problems are due to Eosinophilic Esophagitis and that I am allergic to milk, wheat, walnuts, cinnamon…pretty much my whole diet. I wonder if my PsA will improve on this elimination diet.
