I can totally relate to all of what you’re describing and yes, it is mind numbing pain that can’t be put into words. My last flare in my foot was excruciating to the point that even putting my foot in a downward position had me sobbing. Ive rarely been totally bedridden but this time I was. And forget sleep. It is impossible to ignore the throbbing pain. Hopefully thd biologic will kick in and work for you. I’m due for my 4th injection of Humira and so far no change. When I try to taper my prednisone I go into a flare. Frustrating beyond the imagination. But just keep trying! And venting is good. Misery loves company and you’re not alone. Hugs!

Toradol is also available orally. To me the injection helps much more than the pills but may help you. Ask your doc for an Rx.

I know. Hot weather doesn’t help. Any chance you can get any pool time? My docs nag me to do that to help with the swelling. Most ymcas have a nice arthritis class that helps with stiffness. You might check if any physical therapy places near you have a pool and ask you Dr. For PT referral. They can get you over the hump then you have the exercises you need to keep more mobile.
