i've been on mtx 8 pills for several months with no obvious change in pain/swelling. i started seeing a new doc and she put me on a dairy free, gluten free diet. she also found bad bacteria and yeast in my system and put me on antibiotic and antifungal x10 days. 2 weeks later, the tendonitis in my elbow is almost completely gone. i have significant reduction of pain and swelling in my hands and feet (mainly fingers and toes). i have more energy, too.

i still suffer with brain fog and the pain in my hands and feet, but overall, i seem to be doing much better. i think the diet/meds combo is working. i'll stick to this new way of eating and hope for more positive results.

Nick,
The doc gave me a probiotic to take that is stronger than what I had been taking. I’ve completed taking the antibiotic and antifungal and still on the probiotic.
