Is anybody else on both of these DMARDs together? I’m being started on both together and just wanting a bit of info on what the difference is between the two and maybe an insight into why I’m starting both together straight away? Maybe a more aggressive approach for my condition? I’m so new to all of this and I don’t want to google!! (Serial googled here in remission

I was on both for 6 months. I had been on the plaquenil first for a while then added in mtx. The mtx didn’t work for me so I was switched over to leflunomide, which did work.
Loved the ‘serial googler in remission’ bit! But I’m afraid I don’t know the answer other than mtx seriously didn’t like me and I refused to try the hydroxychloroquine as I was afraid it would ignite my skin psoriasis again.
