My Remicade infusion takes about 2 hours.

My remicade takes three hours. have had 5 doses now and I am not noticing a lot of difference. I have tried Humira Embrel Simponi and now Remicade. I’m beginning to give up hope of ever feeling human again.
I am still having problems with the methotrexate. I take it on Friday, before I get off work and then hunker down for the weekend full of nausea, headache, and sever upset stomach. Every weekend I pray that I will be well enough on Monday to go to work and if I go to work, that I will not get sick. Luckily I work in a school with a nurse and can go lay down during my lunch. This helps me get through the day.
My first dose was when I started feeling it. We’ve had to tweak things a little, I get infusions every 6 weeks and am about to start Methotrexate but it’s been almost a year of being on Remicade and I think it’s been a way better year than when I was trying enbrel and humira. Both of which did nothing for me but have worked wonders for others.

I had my 4th infusion over a week ago and I have soooo much more energy now. I actually stayed out until 11 pm Saturday night ! Thanks for all the advice everyone. My rheumy was ready to give up after the 3rd infusion ( I fired him).
