Biologics and high blood pressure

I can pick a time of day to get a different blood pressure, but I think losing 40 pounds helped a lot… Maybe having tachycardia helped me lose the weight?
Biologic might help to lower the BP, less inflammation= lower stress levels?
At night my BP goes up, in the morning it is very low. Just now it was 113/81 113bpm I forgot what the bottom number meant, but it should be lower, I think…

Are you considering high fat diet for the heart? Recent research found high fat low carb diets reversed heart failure, must say went for a free check up a couple weeks ago and the electrocardiogram was good, will do further testing
Important to use salt too, have read.
All the best

Are you using a Fitbit? I had one day where it claimed that my heart rate was in the 140s while I was just driving, for over 15 minutes. I did some online research, and there are some issues with this if it’s too tight, or other circumstances. Just a thought.

Yes, but I am checking the rate using other devices, I also have a oximeter and a Blood pressure cuff, the readings have been fairly close, fitbit is off by about ±3. The main problem is that it does not record properly, it will record a event then adjust it down later…

I will keep that in mind though when putting it on, it is usually not that tight, with my neuropathy, I cannot handle things very tight on my wrists.

Also I should get my results back from the official heart monitor I wore for two weeks, that should be interesting…

That was the first thing the doctor did, was check my thyroid levels to makes sure I wasn’t getting two much thyroid medication, that was in good range.
I eat a lot of good fats, like olive oil and coconut oil, the only animal fat is from aged cheddar cheese (From UK and Ireland) and fresh Parmesan. I eat eggs about 3 times a week.

You need to widen your range of Irish and UK cheeses. There’s so many choose from!!!

Better then Kerry Gold? :grimacing: kind of limited to shopping at the “Big Box store” right now, with this COVID thing going on…

I must say Kerry Gold makes the best butter which is thankfully available in supermarkets in the UK. But yes the cheeses are better than Kerry Gold cheese.
