ANA positive result?

Howdy,

Just had lots of lab work done at the internist. All was good except the Antigen Nuclear Body test (ANA) which was positive. From what I find online, this just means the presence of an autoimmune disease (really? that's shocker!). Anything else I should know from your experience (and yes, I have a follow-up with my rheum in a week and will confirm anything there)?

Depends on your age and meds. It at most is a screening test. A positive test really only means your pocket book is going to get very sick very soon.
